What Big Data in the company of tomorrow ?

Each year the quantity of downloaded data on the "cloud" doubles compared to the year before. For the only year 2014, it represents about 7 zettabytes of data, which corresponds in our physical world to a stack of DVD's that would circle 14 times the Earth. The use of this data is a major stake for governments and firms. To talk about data processing, the words Big Dat and Small Data are used. The only problem is that everyone heard about this, but nobody knows exactly what to do with it !
What is Big Data ? What are the present examples ? How can a company optimize its process thanks to data ? What are the issues and the consequences on our daily life ? We will analyse the challenges on a strategic level to understand the utility of data and the way to use it with a 15-year perspective of evolution.
